TWIST KENKEN® 2025:
Where Malaysia and China Met in a Battle of Logic, Speed, and Brilliant Young Minds
Malaysia and China Unite Through Logic, Speed, and Friendship
The TWIST KENKEN® 2025 International Championship brought together young puzzle enthusiasts from Malaysia and China in a celebration of logic, speed, learning, and cross-border collaboration.
This year’s event marked an exciting milestone, featuring a record-breaking turnout and strong international participation. The championship journey began with four weekends of online training and qualification through TWISTATHON, before culminating in an exciting Final Round on May 30, 2025.
The Final Round was held simultaneously at the Malaysia Main Venue, Sains@USM in Penang, and the China Sub-Venue, creating a meaningful platform for participants from both countries to compete, connect, and grow.
From China, 104 talented young participants formed the national team and delivered an impressive performance throughout the competition. Among them, three representatives, 郑泽轩、高继红、钟晨溪, travelled to Penang, Malaysia to participate at the main venue, demonstrating outstanding commitment, courage, and excellence.
With a grand prize of RM1,500, participants raced against time to solve increasingly challenging KENKEN® puzzles, showcasing not only their mathematical thinking, but also their focus, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
More than just a competition, TWIST KENKEN® 2025 became a meaningful celebration of international friendship, intellectual challenge, and the joy of learning.
A heartfelt thank you to all sponsors, educators, volunteers, parents, and supporters who made this memorable event possible.
